Algae on snail???

Is it normal/ ok for a snail to have algae growing on its shell? One of mine was pure white and now has some hues of green on his shell

Not abnormal but you don't want it to be a crawling bush lol keep your nitrates and phosphates under control and the shell should have more coralline than algae eventually.

Awesome thanks for the reply :D. I have noticed some of the other snails getting on his shell, maybe eating algae I guess
