Partially Submerged
I have my eye on a 4-stage RODI system sold at 40% off at BRS. Problem is that my city uses chloramines in unknown quantities (the water report just says they add chlorine and then ammonia), and if I understand correctly, I'd need a much more expensive 6-stage system to effectively get rid of the chloramines. So I am wondering if I could use the 4-stage system in connection with a regular aquarium dechlorinator (like Seachem Prime). Would that give me reef-quality water? Quote Link to comment
Clown79
You don't need 6 stage. You can add 1 additional stage to yours easily and then use a standard carbon block and a chloramines removal block. You can also run 2 chloramine carbon block Brs has a video on this. Quote Link to comment
