Draco
Hi peoples, I set up my 9 gal nano cube last weekend.. and I am looking at the tank, wondering if I put too much sand in.. it's about 3.5" of sand. I don't know what fish I want yet, probably not a goby. who knows. What do you guys think, should I take some sand out to about 1.5-2"? sand really doesn't add much benefit to a tank this small, right? I don't want to go BB Quote Link to comment
SaltyBuddha
If you dont want a goby, I would take some out. Most people only have 1 or 2 inches with a goby anyways. Deep standards can lead to more problems down the road. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Clown79
3.5 is a deeper sand bed. Deep sand bed is considered 4" or more. I prefer 1-1.5" Quote Link to comment
