Anthonyb1
What wrong with my Candy Cane coral? There are white flakes coming out of it. 1 Quote Link to comment

SeaFurn
I agree with @WV Reefer. Have you been feeding it? 1 Quote Link to comment
SaltyBuddha
Skeleton like WV said. It looks like something scraped it and damaged the flesh. Did you drop anything on it recently? Brush against it without realizing it? 1 Quote Link to comment

Maybe you can dip it in Lugol's or revive amd try feeding meaty food once a week. Thats what i did with mine and mine was way worse than yours. 1 Quote Link to comment
Anthonyb1
I’ve had it for about two weeks. Nothing has been dropped on it. I’ve feed it twice with coral frenzy Quote Link to comment
SaltyBuddha
Agreed on the Lugols dip. They do need to be fed with a meaty food like mysis shrimp. Do the tentacles come out at night? Do they come out when you feed it? Quote Link to comment
Anthonyb1
I haven’t seen any change in there appearance since I purchased them Quote Link to comment
Sjadet
Is it normally a red one, or is all the green tissue gone? One of my heads did this when i accidentally hit it with a scraper. It was just a tiny wound at first but later all the skin came off and exposed the red layer underneath. It didn't survive Try feed it and see if it regenerates. As long as the mouth part is green it can survive. Quote Link to comment
