bbetta
update! I bought an Okinawae Goby but I can’t get it to eat. I’ve tried various frozen foods by Ocean Nutrition and Grindal Worms. It has a sunken belly, I’ve had it for more than two weeks now. I can see it picking copepods from the LR but it’s not enough. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
bbetta
Thought I’d make an update to my journal. Tons of things have changed since my last pic. Bought a Royal Gramma yesterday and I’m currently battling cyano... Side View Fish pics I’ll upload an FTS as soon as I charge my camera Hope you like it 1 Quote Link to comment

bbetta
It's a bit obvious but I really liked this pic 😂. This guy has grown a lot more than I expected in less than 3 months (see picture above). 3 Quote Link to comment
Christopher Marks
It really has grown a lot, l'il chunker! 😄 Good to see you back @bbetta, how has your nano reef been this summer? Any new coral additions? Quote Link to comment

Any new coral additions? Thanks @Christopher Marks! I was absent for about ten days and some corals were not happy at all. I had some bleaching on some but nothing too serious. I did lose my seriatopora frag though. I’m planning to change up the tank a little bit. It will be more LPS-oriented. I’d like an Acan Garden plus some nice Euphyllias. Ricordeas drive me crazy because they move a lot so I’ll give away all my Mushrooms and I’ll reduce the size of my GSP and Xenia colonies. I recently added my first Acanthastrea and I absolutely love them. I’m feeding reef-roids 2-3 times per week and I also got my eyes on the Fauna Marin LPS Pellets. 1 Quote Link to comment
bbetta
Some new photos. They were taken 3 days ago, the day that marks 1 year since I set up this tank and started reefing! PS. Is the big Euphyllia in the right corner a Paradivisa (Frogspawn) or a Yaeyamaensis (Octospawn) ??? 2 Quote Link to comment
bbetta
I’d like everyone’s opinion one something. I realize many people keep Royal Grammas in tanks smaller than my 20G but I see that in many sites their minimum tank size is 30G. I feel like that my tank is adequate for my Loreto (he is the only fish living near the rockwork, my clownfish don’t go anywhere near his spots), but I’d like a second opinion. Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
He is fine in a 20g, they like to keep an eye on their cave and guard it. Even when I had one in my 40g he would hang out by his side of the tank to make sure no sneaky fish found his hideout. Tank looks awesome btw! 2 Quote Link to comment
bbetta
Some pics with only the Blue LEDs. After a year, I finally discovered that I’ve been burning my corals with an excessive amount of white light. The guy I bought the Led fixture from, suggested that I set my LEDs at max intensity! I now am at 100% Blue and 60% White. I don’t like it visually when I lower the whites (they were 70% a week ago, everything is way better now at 60%) to 50%. Probably the corals would be bettter off at 50%... I want to hear some opinions. 1 Quote Link to comment
