I drew up the blueprint esque thing earlier, and I wanted to see if you guys reckon it could be do able. The the tidal surge would be every 6 hrs, with the tidal sump pump turning on to start high tide. Then after 1-2 hrs the pump turns off and the water drains back down to to start low tide, and the cycle begins again. There will be a seperate filtration system with a skimmer and other appropriate filtration for the part of the tank permanently in water. This would provide life support for the corals and the permanently aquatic fish. If this goes ahead, I plan to have 1-2 mudskippers, which would live in the land section of the tank.
