Subsea
Green Star Polyps GSP cover the back of this 75G Jaubert Plenumn display tank. Quote Link to comment
Newtothehobby
Ok the pet store recomended toadstools would that also be a good choice. Quote Link to comment
Subsea
Leathers are fine. Note that leathers, when in the presence of hard corals will give off slight toxins to discourage encroachment. This is easily removed with granulated active carbon, GAC. Quote Link to comment
Subsea
This Green Sinularia is in the leather family. Quote Link to comment
Newtothehobby
Ok thanks Quote Link to comment
Minmay
Cloves, mushrooms, zoas are pretty easy corals. Cloves can be pretty invasive so watch out for those. Quote Link to comment
burtbollinger
toadstool leathers can be a very annoying first coral...sometimes they dont open for long periods of time...I had one that did not open for 7 months before I ditched it. Quote Link to comment
Newtothehobby
I have tried mushrooms and every thing seems to be going fine. Quote Link to comment
Sjadet
My first corals were a massacre paly colony, a green candy cane and a stylophora sps. They are still doing fine after 7 months. If you're just looking for softies I would say mushrooms & buttons. Green star polyps are by far the easiest, but also a PITA once it starts encrusting everything! Quote Link to comment
Newtothehobby
I will definitely try the candy cane soon Quote Link to comment
