GenericReefer
I've been going on a spree to get answers to all my questions, but this is something that I haven't regarded as much. My rockwork isn't that stable, and if left by itself, will definitely collapse. I am looking for a durable, low-cost, and non-colored epoxy. Some people have also reported a smell and water becoming cloudy because of the epoxy, so what is up with that? I am going to finish the rockwork out of water, so whether or not epoxy can be used in the water will not really matter. Thanks! Quote Link to comment

CronicReefer
http://www.marcorocks.com/aquascape-supplies/e-marco-400/ This stuff is the best on the market IMO. It is basically cement and dries grey. Looks very natural and will not affect the water in anyway but needs 24 hours minimum to cure outside of the tank. Quote Link to comment
GenericReefer
Argh, I just used an impulse bought epoxy, and the smell!! I qualified to get a free tube of Ocean Wonders Epoxy with my purchase at my LFS, and it seemed pretty stable, and the color didn't show that much, however it gave off a very chemical-ish smell. I put in some Chemi Pure Blue, which alleviated a significant amount of the smell, but it's still there and still stenches. Any advice on how to solve this, or should I just wait along with the cycle? Quote Link to comment
