uwharrie
I am almost out of my reagent for my Hanna Checker and need to order more. In the mean time I have a nice digital pool test kit I use for work. It can measure total alkalinity. But not sure if that is any help in an aquarium. if so how do I convert the total reading to dkh? or are they two totally different things? for example I am getting 109 total Alk on the pool kit. I believe that is ppm. ( not sure if salinity affects the reading but since we also use these on salt pools I would think not) if that is PPM than my hanna is way off. ( reagent expires this month) as the conversion chart shows 5.9. ( hanna showed 10) Quote Link to comment
Clown79
The pool kit may be made for alkalinity for chlorinated pool water or just FW. Quote Link to comment
