schgr.cube
I was debating purchasing either the Maxspect XF230 Gyre or the IceCap 3k Gyre, but felt that either one might be too much flow for my 25 Lagoon. I saw from this MACNA video that IceCap is coming out with a smaller 2k version, with what looks like an updated controller. Thoughts on this? Has anyone seen anything official from IceCap / CoralVue yet? I hope it releases soon, I'm really looking to get one in the near future. 1 Quote Link to comment
mitten_reef
@Marine Depot anything you could share on this? Price? ETA? I can only think that if the 3K gyre is only $150, the 2K could land in the price point that might be very attractive to a lot of nano folks. Quote Link to comment
Thawk
I run a XF230 in my 20H and at 10-30% the flow seems fine. Anything above that starts lifting rocks Quote Link to comment

corey01
just in case anyone cares, marine depot has this available for preorder. and it currently falls under the 15% off promo. I figured id take a chance on my IM 25 lagoon. no idea when it ships though. looking to replace my pair of jebao pumps on either side of the tank. Quote Link to comment
Ryebreadiest
How much louder are these things than MP10's with quiet drive? Quote Link to comment
