aerotiy
Hello, I just purchased some corals online. The website says to not drip acclimate the corals because it will void their 14 days warranty. When I messaged to ask about this, I was told that the water they’re in is toxic and they need to get out of it ASAP. However, reading other reef forums, everyone is saying that you should drip acclimate just like you would with inverts. So I’m confused now as to what’s right. Quote Link to comment
Kellie in CA
I have never drip acclimated a coral. I usually float the bags for just a bit while I set up the coral dip. Dip them for 15-20 minutes, then in the tank they go. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
1967type1
I work at a LFS and we never drip corals and I never drip corals at home anymore. Just float, dip (I never do at home but its a good practice), and drop them in. 1 Quote Link to comment
Clown79
I just float the bag for temp issues, then dip my corals, and in they go. 1 Quote Link to comment
