mbarton2010
Which return pump and skimmer should I pick up for this sump. Here is a link for reference https://www.marinedepot.com/Eshopps_CUBE_Nano_Refugium_Complete_Aquarium_Sump_Units-Eshopps-QH15704-FIFRBSCU-vi.html Quote Link to comment
Friendly
i can't make a recommendation, but I think the size of your tank and what coral/fish/inverts you have it in would be important to know for others to help out. Quote Link to comment

Sorry lol it's a 20g High. No live stock at the moment. I'm in the process of obtaining all the gear. It will be heavy bioload and mixed corals. Quote Link to comment
Friendly
well, you'll have a combined volume of 35 gallons, so make sure you get a skimmer that can do 40+ gallons, especially if you intend to have a heavy bio load. looking at Eshopps, their Premium S-120 and Mid X-120 will work in the nano. it's got a water height of 8" and both of those support 7 - 9" of water height. keep in mind though, if you have a heavy bioload, you may need to get a sump with a deeper skimmer chamber. tho it appears the nano is the only one MD carries. It's. It going to be crazy heavy bioload. Just probably a fish or two more than most. Not like an NPS tank lol I was looking at the Icecap k2-50 https://premiumaquatics.com/products/icecap-k250-protein-skimmer-rated-4080g.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw3MPNBRDjARIsAOYU6x9NOz0-QoZBclQiqMtV7a2Wmvb19YkEta1CY5ewGQQhyPT3bsHRa8YaAoZzEALw_wcB Quote Link to comment
Friendly
the K250 says it works from 6 - 7" of water height. based on that, don't expect 100% function as it's 25% shy of the maximum water height. Quote Link to comment
