FollyFish
Does anyone know how long the feathers/fringe on the Duncan get? My one Duncan colony has feathers that are about 2 inches long. I just fragged it as it was cheerfully trying to kill a cup coral. But now I noticed the fringe is about a half inch away from a power head and I have nowhere else to move the coral to. Im currently at work so I will try to add pics later. Edited August 17, 2017 by FollyFish added pics Quote Link to comment
teenyreef
Yours are longer than mine but I've seen pictures of duncans with long fringes like yours. I don't know if it's due to lighting, flow, or just because of the particular variety you have. If it was in my tank I'd just wait and see what happens. I would think it would retract enough to stay out of the powerhead when it starts to touch it. But it may just be too big to go there. Quote Link to comment
FollyFish
Sorry it took so long to add the pics. For a while I would leave for work before the lights turned on and get back after the lights were off. The Duncan "shark" is Folly my Black Ice Clownfish, and yes he bites. Quote Link to comment
