FollyFish
I currently have a blood red fire shrimp that is about 2.5 inches long. (full grown?) I would like to add a Randalls pistal shrimp for my yellow watchman goby (I think he needs a friend). I would like to know if the shrimps would harm each other. I know fire shrimps are territorial. My sand bed is deep 3 inches at the front of the tank to 4 inches at the back. If I get the Randall should I add building material to the sand for it? Quote Link to comment
jesseatam
I wouldn't think there'd be a problem between these two since the Randall's would mostly stay in its burrow with the goby, I have a hitchhiker pistol somewhere in my tank and it hasn't bothered my fire shrimp. Quote Link to comment
fishfreak0114
In my BC29 I have a randall's and a fire shrimp and no issues so far. There's also a cleaner and the fire doesn't bother it one bit. Quote Link to comment
FollyFish
Thank you for the info. I am going to add a Randall's for my goby when the LFS get another one in. The one that I was looking at sold. Quote Link to comment
