Hey, I've seen this tank somewhere before... somewhere....

Double posting on R2R and here, does that mean I have to follow you both places? ;)

Very nice!  I really like gorgonians.  Watching it fill in.

Thanks, I've wanted to do a gorg tank for quite a while.  I'm pretty excited about it.

I do have more fish in mind. Currently looking at

Chalk Basslets

Jawfish

Small gobies

And a few others that I haven't really made a solid decision on yet.

looks pretty good, but how did you set up filtration? is that a closed loop drain I see?

Thanks !

Tank is drilled peninsula style with a low profile box . (3) One inch drains down to sump, Single one inch return on opposite end of overflow.  The strainer you see is actually a drain for when i do water changes.  I open a ball valve and just let it drain.  ☺

I am so sad I have never thought of doing like that....But I would have to find a place to hide it really well. :)

Going the DIY route on a light fixture.

I have a stripped down 46" aquatic life expert series heatsink that I will eventually be converting into an LED/T5 hybrid. Not sure if I want to stay with the tank mount option, or hang it.

Tanks not dead yet omgomgomg

Had an early day so water change and misc. Cleaning / maintenance underway. Might have new a fish or 2 this weekend,  as well as some potential new goodies by the middle of next week if the weather is cooperative.
