lonewonderer
I just want to share my DIY algae scrubber. Algae growth in 2 days using a 12w par38 led light. I took the baffle from my sump and made it as a waterfall slide style scrubber. Meah can be removed by sliding it up. Quote Link to comment
Nickbruh510
what materials did you use? like the mesh? Quote Link to comment
lonewonderer
Yes it's a plastic mesh. you can buy it at Jo-ann or Michaels. It should be in the cross stitch area. It's only a $1 each mesh. It's been 3 days now since i made this build and the algae is really growing fast. Hair algae is already visible. Quote Link to comment

lonewonderer
it's a way to export nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates out of your tank by culturing algae. 1 Quote Link to comment
