is leaded glass a problem?

thinking about those nifty vases n stuff you can get at the 'just a bit more than a dollar' dollar stores, or arts n craft places like Michael's. 

 

I'd almost be certain that they'll have lead in them, so wonder how big an issue that is or isn't.

I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't think it safe. 

The lead in leaded glass leaches quite quickly in acidic solutions. This may be slowed down significantly by the very alkaline nature of Saltwater. However, I would guess it still leaches.
