Wow, it's amazing how things change.  Here's a shot that I took today of the left hand side.

Sooo pretty. I always love the “crispness” of this tank. —is that a word? 🤔

😊

I like it. Where is the FTS

Thanks!

 I didn't take a FTS; I was taking pics of my 100 gallon and just took this lone picture.  I'll take one later today.  Surprisingly, almost all of the Caulerpa is gone. :whoa:

 Thank you!  It's sooo neglected, but it doesn't seem to mind.  With no fish in it, it doesn't require a lot of attention.  Someday I'll step it up a bit.

As promised:

FTS: 06/07/18

The right side.  You can kind of see my 100 gallon off the right corner.

I got these awhile back from Aquarium Depot.  Someday I'll have to get them on the rock.

Currently this tank houses my RFAs and some macro.  Eventually I'd like a couple gorgonians, and maybe a sponge or two.  And definitely a few fish.  Someday.

Def some gorgs! Aquarium depot sells them super cheap.

Definitely.  Gots to have 'em.

I was waiting until the tank broke in.  I'd also love to see some significant coralline growing before I get some.  Although I'm now able to feed it phyto without causing weird algae blooms.  I still get some cyano, but it's nothing too bad.

Thanks Dawn!  I kind of feel like I ignore this tank.  Running on autopilot.

Nothing wrong with that, I want a tank like that someday! 😆

Where did all the caulerpa go? Needs more greenery. Whats the pink stuff?

I'm not really sure where the Caulerpa went.  There are just a couple of leaves left in this tank.  Yeah, I agree, more green algae.  I got a bunch of it growing in my 100 gallon.  Seems to do well in that tank.

The pink stuff was some freebie Red Gracilaria that I got (can't remember exactly where).  It has lost its "red" color, but still seems to do quite well in this tank.  I'm kind of liking how it wants to grow up.  Funny thing is that it looks more red in my 100 gallon (with the exact same lighting).

Interesting how it changed colour (canadian for color). My prolifera seems to go through huge swings of growth. Tons of it one half of the year, then it slows down to next to nothing.

It's been awhile since I've tested nutrients so I thought I'd check:

  • Nitrate) less than 5ppm, Salifert using the low range method
  • Phosphorous) 0ppb, Hanna ULR Phosphorus Checker

Just about 1 month from the spawning post. So many, so tiny, and so cute!

I actually noticed them on the 13th of this month (when I received my black light flashlight).  TBH, many of these were so small, that I thought the smaller ones were some kind of hydroid that fluoresced.  However, since that time, they have grown slightly, and now I believe that they are all RFA babies.  You really don't notice them without the UV light.  But they light up big time when you shine the flashlight on them (with the other lights off).

The tank isn't looking all that great, but here's a video of a what I thought was a RFA giving birth.  However I might have to agree with @SeaFurn who proposed that it could just be expelling non-viable eggs.

I had to clean the sand bed, so I removed the baby RFAs.
