cseeton
Why not put the remora in the sump and lose the sump float valve? Link to comment
fade2black
If you're going to have a sump, move your Remora there to get it out of the main tank. Just a suggestion Link to comment
Ghotit
well i may have used the wrong choice or words. not a sump a fuge. just going to make it a macro farm. and make the top off full of kalkwasser Link to comment
cseeton
You can still move the Remora down there, just use some netting or a baffle to keep the macro out and hang the Remora off the side. Link to comment
fade2black
You know that kalkwasser has to be in a sealed container or it will react with the CO2 in the air, right? Link to comment
Ghotit
no i dident know that = (. i have to make sure i have the top on it. will that be enough? or will it have to be a totaly air tight container? Link to comment
Max
You could use a 5 gallon bucket from home depot for the kalkwasser. They sell them with lids that have rubber gaskets around the edge and are air tight a freind of mine stored 5 Gs of premixed saltwater in one for a month with no evap. Link to comment
