Maxspect gyre with tiny fish?

I have decided to switch my microfish: Aeoliops megastigma, Trimma/Eviota gobies and the like to a 30g, in which I also plan to keep some sps. Is a small gyre, directed at the top of the tank going to create too much flow for these little guys? In the twenty gallon IM Nuvo fusion I have an upgraded return pump plus two nano powerheads.
