Water Dog Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 If you just got it I the mail, give it time to break in. Break in could sometimes be sped up if you let the brand new skimmer run in a vinegar bath initially before putting it in your sump to remove manufacturing oils and residue. Otherwise, leave it alone and it will settle down on its own once a biofilm coats all of its parts. 1 Quote Link to comment
