my_sons_reef
Alright so I have a 150GPD unit it is about 6 months old. It has been producing 0TDS water about 25 gallons a week. 3 weeks ago I noticed the Pressure gauge reading 0 when its normally 45 BUT it was still producing water normally. I decided to boost up the production and get a booster pump. I am making water faster but the pressure gauge still reads 0. What would cause this? Clogged filters or just a bad gauge? Link to comment
pal
I would guess bad gauge. I gave mine a few taps and it works again. Link to comment
my_sons_reef
so did I and nothing Link to comment
braaap
Give it more than a few taps. Sometimes they stick really hard. The glycerin filled gauges get stuck less often but still do. Link to comment
Boggers
If it is making water, pressure not 0. Faulty guage. I don't look at mine much. Link to comment
my_sons_reef
I'll give a bit harder taps. I really wasn't to concerned since it was still making water just that since I added the booster pump if it maybe made a little to much pressure. Link to comment
OldManSea
I have had that happen. I have just gotten a new gauge from the hardware store. Usually they last for years but I have gotten lemons before. Link to comment
