I plan on siphoning the river carefully lol but the rest of the substrate is compacted soil.  not rocks, so I don't think I really siphon it ?  Leave it to the snails.

My mantis arrived today!  Along with more rock.  So we re-worked the scape and found a marvelous rock with a marvelous hole.  It was so marvelous we had to check to make sure it was unoccupied. lol

Live rock!  More to come in a couple weeks.  This is mainly for the cycle.   Red Porcelain Crab.  Going to try to catch it and move it to the contest tank so she doesn't get eaten.
