I have an RO Buddie, I know that the most efficient but absolutely works for me. My DI resin was completely exhausted ( i pushed too far and voila algae outbreak...) i purchased another brand cartridge compatible with mine my local LFS had in stock. Different posts I've referenced online have vaguely pointed in the direction that this cartridge is refillable (for example with bulk resin from BRS) Has anyone done this? I was able to unscrew it but the small white disc on top doesnt dislodge easily but I have not yet tried to pop it out with something like a paperclip. Any one have any luck here? sprite Posted May 20, 2017 Share Posted May 20, 2017 Yes I did it when I had the ro buddy. Just unscrew the top and use the point of a razor blade to pry out the white strainer peice then refill and assemble back together. Quote Link to comment

Where did you get your resin from? Sorry just trying to gauge worth of doing this or just buying new cartidges. Quote Link to comment
