Lots of people do but I would never. She has the hair for a reason.

yeah but huskies also live mostly outside for that reason too...  😁

I had an Akita, and every time it got close to summer, i would make him look like Simba from Lion King.

There was no other way to control all that hair.

And the funnier thing is when he got all his fur shaved, i could swear he had that look where he was like.

"THANK YOU, i feel 1 million lbs lighter"

Seeing how your huskie is indoors, i would shave him to look like Lion King as well.

They are absolutely adorable like that, and it makes bathing them a ton easier if you do that on your own.

Not to mention it also lets them regulate the heat a lot better, so they dont end up looking like melted ice on that cold floor.

Husky’s actually have very light pigmented skin and there isn’t a groomer worth their salt that would recommend shaving a Husky. Their coat is what helps protect them and regulate their temperature.

Thanks for the tips though. 🙂 It is actually quite common for people to shave them, but it doesn’t mean it’s right.

Christy at least if your power goes out, you can always ask your dog to do this to keep your fishes alive.  😄

They are definitely weirdos. 😂

I love huskys they are just a bit too head strong for me tho.

Also ive had enough of dogs which shed til no tomrrow.

I really enjoy wearing black, and I dont want to get paint balled by a animal activist thinking i was wearing a fur coat after wresting with my dog which i do frequently to my doberman.  😛

Dobermans are such pretty dogs. We had one named Brandy growing up.

I like them a lot. I wish my Rainbow Goni would hurry up and grow. It’s so small I can barely get pics of it.

Katie would blow bubbles in the water bowl when she was little too. She would stick her whole nose down to the bottom, dunno WTF she was looking for. Maybe a duck?

Thanks dude. 😀

Oh you're very welcome. My tanks looking fugly at the moment. In fattening up the blenny, I shot up nutrients and algae came back. I'm treating it right now and then hopefully once this is done all should be good in my tank again. Fingers crossed
