Simulated Fish
This guy is giant, have you ever seen one this big? Guy broke down his tank and brought it I to the LFS said it was about 20 years old! Sorry the pictures are so blue, this was in there coral room near the end of the day. And I forget to set the lights to noon. The clowns are 3" for reference. 5 4 Quote Link to comment

Tamberav
Nice clam! We used to have a member ZelphNYC who had a clam around 30 inches or so and had it for 8 years??? It is too bad he is not around anymore. Quote Link to comment
Muraki
Hopefully it continues to thrive in it's next home. Quote Link to comment
Nola Bear
They had one in an LFS in Tampa for years. Amazing show piece. For the last six months (I frequent this place often) I kept commenting on how it didn't look good, but they always shrugged it off. The thing just died during Hurricane Irma They said it was around ~18 years old. 1 Quote Link to comment
FishNCars
seems small for 20, but maybe it's just the perspective Quote Link to comment

I haven't been in there since July last year, I was gonna go there soon and look at that clam specifically, sucks to hear it died, it was a monster. Quote Link to comment
Nola Bear
Yep, that’s the one. They had some AC and Chiller issues with Irma that I don’t think they have yet to truly recover from. Their show tank is not what it was. They lost a ton of acros too Quote Link to comment
shoonjai
Wonder how much a clam that size would cost??! Quote Link to comment
