I'm really tempted to grow some gsp on the lower right rock ledge I front of the mp10. Nothing else will grow there. Somebody talk me out of it.

I'd send ya my GSP for free if you lived closer, haha.

Lol. I just can't think of anything else that will grow there. The flow is strong.

Also, I was wrong. The Duncan was 4 heads, not 5, but it has awesome color.

If it was just going on the sand, it wouldn't be a problem. But on that massive rock could become a problem. What else can grow there besides sps? I don't want any sps on that side.

Well GSP is a PITA so I vote no...................

There has to be something that will grow there.

I have the whip about 6" away and it's getting bent pretty good and mp10 is only at 60%. I can't go lower or the middle of the tank will be a dead zone.

I know what you should do.

Put Halymenia Macro there.

It LOVES flow and would look gorgeous flowing in the current.

That's dragon breath right? I tried that. It was too intense. I'll try it again.

Mmm, maybe, but probably not.

Dragon's Breath is one of those names that gets attached to more than one kind of Macro.

A dead giveaway for Halymenia is that it feels slippery. If it doesn't feel slippery, it isn't Halymenia. Has to be attached with fishing line cause it's hard to get superglue to stick to it.

Ya it's halimenia. I have it ziptied to a plug. Just tried again and the flow is too strong. Maybe galaxaura?

Huh.

I'm trying to envision flow too strong for Halymenia.

What kinda whirlpool you got going on in there???

No wonder the whip is bent!!

Y'know, honestly, I probably wouldn't put anything in flow that is too strong for Halymenia.

Ya it's just really close to the powerhead, but it's a lot of rock there to have nothing growing on it. I know something like setosa or undata would work there, but want to keep things soft on that side.

I did it. I put the toadstool there and moved the powerhead back about 1/2" so half the flow is hitting the rock tower directly and the toadstool is only getting indirect flow. If the toadstool can't thrive there, nothing will.
