I have a vision in my head, but putting it to fruition is a whole other thing. And I keep debating between live rock and cured rock. Thought about dry rock, but that takes a long time to cycle, but it's easier to create the aqua-scape outside the tank...see, there I go again Just now, Coral_chef said: That's what I thought too. I think the Microbacter may be a little week as you can add a bunch to the tank and not hurt it. Great stuff but I have pored half a bottle into a 10 gallon just to try and get things going. I have never tried the Fritzyme9 stuff but have used Dr Tims and the Bio Spira. I dosed ammonia with both and the cycle was not long at all. Each time was with dry rock. Reefcleaners once and Pukani the other. I think the Pukani was a bit longer as it had a lot more dead organic material on it. 2 Quote Link to comment
Weetabix7
An experienced Reefer friend of mine had a 4 day cycle with dry rock, ammonia and Bio Spira. No lie!! 4 Quote Link to comment

It's just stuff, sand, heater, netting for top...Don't need it yet so not really a big deal. But still when you're expecting something and then it;s not coming... 2 Quote Link to comment
Lula_Mae
I had a 3-day delivery delay due to "weather conditions" after a snow storm....even though all the roads were plowed and clear. Every day it would say out for delivery, every night it said delivery delayed. Annoying. 1 Quote Link to comment
