I may try to get some to cover the top ledge too because I'm not sure what else can grow there. Maybe some zoas? I think putting a Toadstool on the top ledge isn't a bad idea. I'm not sure if Zoas would be visible enough up there. A cluster of barnacles with Barnacle Blennies? I've been wanting to get some of those Toadstools cause they make a really great habitat for beneficial microfauna. 5 Quote Link to comment

They are soon cute and I would love to have couple, but alas, there does not appear to be a florida species. 1 Quote Link to comment

Pjanssen
This is the first open top tank that I have had. Boy is there a lot of evaporation I'm going through about a 1/2 gallon a day. My 29 goes through about 5 gallons a month! Considering an acrylic top instead of the just screen, but I imagine to have one made is pretty pricey. 1 Quote Link to comment

What about a grouping of greenbanded gobies? @genaand @teenyreef got theirs from someone on eBay. I think they come as a grouping of 5. And I think they are from around Florida ... 1 Quote Link to comment

I actually have my livestock planned. Wish I could put more in, because they are all so cute. I'm already at 5, which is probably too many as it is, and I'll probably have to add a skimmer. But since this is going to be a mated tank, and I wanted more than one species...and the 5th one was just too cute to pass up. Can't wait to start getting them in the tank. 4 Quote Link to comment

You know that heavily exporting will be the best bet. I wouldn't recommend to a beginner, but I feel like you'll do fine. Everything depends heavily on choices like aquascape and fish behavior and size. So, Penny can have 5 depending on her species and I feel pretty maxxed at 3. Which is a shame, because I wanted a chalk bass but the blenny is far too active I think for an additional fish. 1 minute ago, stellablue said: Nah, not too crazy. Also a mated pair of gold coral banded shrimp. It is the Honeymoon Reef after all. Pike blenny will serve as the concierge. coral banded shrimp can relocate to the 29 if I feel it is too crowded. Of course, this is all dependent on KPA getting a pair on their next dive. 5 Quote Link to comment

ReefWeeds
They are adorable!!!!! i think I read that you were thinking full acrylic top but I think you should nix that. Being fully stocked, you're going to want to ensure good air exchange and I think that would limit you. plus acrylic would warp I think if it was a full top. 1 Quote Link to comment
