IMG_1641.thumb.JPG.3c61e0b891f131a9775427df1dbb34d2.JPGso I have a 12 gallon nano cube, in a couple of weeks I plan on adding either a hammer or frogspawn to my tank. The question is, I would like to place it on my top rock. The top rock is 13 1/2 inches away from the light. The light I am using is a AI Prime HD with the current settings at 14,000 k at 60% which turns out is 23 watts.  Do you guys think the hammer or frogspawn will do well with those conditions? The water flow would be medium, always could be adjusted if needed. Please let me know what you think. Thank you

I think that would be fine, maybe a little intense but just be sure to acclimate it. You'll probably have some trouble getting the flow just right with them up there but I'm sure it can be figured out

Well I picked up a hammer today. So we will see how he does! He has been in my tank for about one hour and he just started to puff up a little
