LJR
So in a period of about six hours yesterday, I accidentally used my pure RO/DI water rather than my low salinity water to top off/water change my five gallon tank, and bombed my salinity from about 1.028 to 1.015 ish, assuming my refractometer is correct. Now, as I wasn't thinking anything of it, I didn't test the salinity until today. My tank is full of inverts, containing 3 zoa frags, a magarita snail, a hermit crab, and porcelain crab, and a fire shrimp (the last two being new editions from this past Sunday). Everyone is doing fine thus far, though I woke up to a crab moult from the porcelain this morning. So, are my tank inhabitants doomed, or can I just slowly pull up the salinity? Update: Tested it again, it's actually closer to 1.019-1.020...prob why ky tank isn't dead Link to comment
