Today is the last day you can get it, I'm taking that tank down this evening.

Want one today?

(you do realize you just asked me for Weetabix brand Purple Up, right? ;))

Not sure I can get by there today. Maybe after work. Will let you know

Ok. Making an extra one up right now. :) It'll probably keep in the container til tomorrow if that's better, they've been surviving shipment via 2 day mail after all.

Ok. Now that I think about this I wonder if it's too early to add since my cycle is in full swing?

and Purple Up doesn't actually have coralline in it. Since I'm using all dry rock I need a seed to get it started. But heck, maybe the snails I'm getting will have some I can just scrape off.

Anyone have a suggestion on an (empty) media bag for this tank for carbon, purigen and such?? I've used pantyhose in the past but looking for something a little more elegant. Everything I'm seeing looks too big.

Search for organza bags on Amazon. You pay pennies per bag and they're available in different sizes. They even come with a built in draw string.

Yep, I've used them for years in multiple tanks. They're made out of fine mesh nylon. I can't say that anyone has tested or certified them as reef safe but I've never had any problems with them. And panty hose isn't reef safe certified either :)

Wow, the Bio-Spira is really doing its job. Went from 4ppm ammonia yesterday to 0.5ppm today.

That's crazy!!!!

Would never have believed that overnight, esp without rock in the tank.

And it turns out the light fits! Now I just need to figure out how to work it. I wouldn't mind if the gooseneck were a little longer too. Will try to figure that out.

Didn't know you had a thread! Following along. Glad to see the light made it safe and sound. I will message you the thread I was talking about on my note it helped me figure it out as it's a bit rough if you aren't familiar with the lights like I wasn't the first time lol

Nice GIF. I just realized we can now post GIFs.  The possibilities! :ninja:

Thanks. I used the live photo feature on my iPhone and then the GIF Toaster app to convert it.

I liked you better when you were poor.

Being poor sucks. Pretty sure that's in the Bible.

Wait, I think that was Joel Osteen. Never mind.
