ScottyDon't Posted August 25, 2004 Share Posted August 25, 2004 My light fixture is increasing the water temp by about 2 degrees. So at night its 79 and then during the day its 81. Is this terrible? I have a coralife pc fixture which has legs but I prefer not to use them as it looks better without and leaks much less light into the room. Scott Link to comment

I haven't had any problems yet, but I don't have any fragile species either. It's been running well for over 6 months now, and I haven't had any losses. Link to comment
joekr Posted August 25, 2004 Share Posted August 25, 2004 my temp usually goes between 79 and 82. Everything in my tank seems healthy....I would think you'd be all right as long as it's a gradual up and down, which from night to day it would be. Link to comment
