Sorry about the delays guys! I ended up replacing all of my rock with a West Mariculture Bonsai Scape with most of my acroporas mounted on 2 inch-frag plugs. I made the change for ease of maintenance, and it'll be a lot easier to remove/frag/replace the colonies as they grow!

looks great, love the openness.  I'll miss the stax valley tho, I have to admit.

On a side note, I haven't manually fed my tank for almost 3 months now. I've been using a product called NYOS Goldpods and Chromys (mysis) hooked up to an autodoser. My tank gets fed every 2 hours. No stirring or refrigeration needed.

Wow that's very cool. Do you feed equal parts at night? I just started a dry auto feeder and I'm seeing a ton of growth. Notice ant changes? The colors look amazing.

I only have 1 doser head open, so I mix the Chromys and Gold pods into one container in equal parts. The biggest change I note is how low-maintenance the tank is now that I don't feed or do water changes lol.

Hi Xiaoxiy,

I've only just found your build thread and will definitely be having a detailed read this evening (and following along in the future).

Can I just confirm, you're adding Goldpods via a loser, without any mixing or refrigeration? If so, that's incredible. Do your fish eat the Goldpods? I understand it's designed more as a coral food and must say, my fish won't touch them!

Many thanks again for a great thread.

How much of the food do you dose?

10ml daily for 3 Chromis, 2 clowns, 1 sixline, 1 pajama cardinal and 1 yellow damsel.

That's correct. I've mixed the Chromys (Mysis) with the Goldpods as well, and the fish seem to eat both without issue. It initially took a while before the fish recognized the Goldpods as food.

For anyone thinking about going this route, normal dosing connectors do not work; i.e will clog. I use airline tubing and SMC 5mm quick connectors. It took a bit of wrangling, but I stretched the doser head tubing to fit the 5mm SMC connector as well.
