kris_willard
Its on this piece. Its kind of like a candycane/zoo morph. Well actually its zoos growing on a candycane. The thing in question is growing on the underside. Link to comment
pos_user
looks like a utheniella sponge to me...a common sponge. If it gets ugly or too big. Just expose it to air for a few seconds and its gone. Link to comment
kris_willard
Its inbetween the size of a nicklle and a quarter and theres 2 smaller on a little further down. Will it hurt anything? Link to comment
pos_user
no, a sponge will actually suck up all your nitrates, and the bigger it gets, means the more work and nutrients its cosuming. If it gets ugly I would dump it. But keep in mind im not 100% that it is a sponge. i need more pics to give you a better answer. Link to comment
kris_willard
this is pretty ,uch the same picture what other types of pics would you like? Link to comment
pos_user
definately looks like a sponge. If it gets larger than you would like...then just do the trick i mentioned above. But I think you should leave it and see what happens. Most of the rewards from Reef Keeping is finding something that you didnt bring home in a bag. So thats a new find for you, it wont hurt anything...just dont let it smother your corals. Once it does that, give it the boot. Link to comment
