reuath Posted May 24, 2017 Share Posted May 24, 2017 Yea, had it running opposite of my main light cycle. Bought about a golf ball size of cheato off ebay, would have to thin it out about every 6 months when it got about the size of a softball. Being a halogen bulb it does get hot cheato touching it would turn white over time, but didn't make a noticeable difference in temp overnight. I'm sure there are submersible leds the work better with less heat and you don't have to worry about changing the bulb, but 5yrs ago it was cheap and worked. Used it tell about 3 months ago.
