Once I got it dialed in, it pulled very dark skimmate - like a cup of over-brewed black tea, about as good as you can expect from a nano skimmer from what I understand. I was feeding pretty heavy so it didn't lower my nitrates, but it did hold them steady for me whereas before I installed it they would always rise between water changes. Link to comment
