Learned a lot from my first build in my simple 15G set-up, so I will be applying everything I have learned over to my new build. The tank should be up and running in about 2-3 weeks and I will post plenty of pics along the way. I have a whole wall to myself to utilize so it will definitely be reef themed.Here is what I have purchased so far: Tank: Innovative Marine 25 Lagoon AIO (All in one), specs: 24" x 20" x 12" Heater: Colbalt Neo-therm 50W Pump: Upgrading 1 of the 2 stock pumps to a Sicce 1.5 pump Basket: InTank Fuge basket and InTank Floss holder Stand: Building custom standEquipment that will move over from my 15G: Tunze Nano ATO 3152 Current Marine Orbit LED My plan is to keep this tank simple with no skimmer and eventually aim for a every 2 week water change. Nart Posted March 20, 2017 Author Share Posted March 20, 2017 The tank passed the leak test! The custom stand should be done by the end of this weekend, so I will be ready to move everything over probably by next week. Video update to come this week of some pros and cons of the tank so far. If anyone has some rockscaping ideas, please feel free to let me know! I was thinking of going with 3 separate rock islands, with each being large, medium, and small. Quote Link to comment

Vinyl cut out. Going to grow chaeto in the back. Every fish owner's nightmare... But was able to fix it. I am having trouble with finding lights that will work with this setup to grow chaeto though. I bought some red LED lights specifically to grow plants, but since my tank is so close up to the wall I think it might be a little too powerful and burn the chaeto. Quote Link to comment

So just a quick re-cap of my tank back in August. As you can tell I started hoarding frags... but who doesn't??? I was quickly itching to re-scape the entire tank as I was never too happy with my rushed rock-scaping when I first started the tank. I decided I'll go to MACNA 2017 and see if I can get any inspiration there to re-do my tank and have some pow-wow coral discussions with some fellow reefers. Like this tall guy here. I thought he was a bit odd, but hey... he wanted a picture with me, so why not? Kidding. George is a really cool dude. Upon coming home... I quickly ordered 12lbs of Pukani rocks from BRS and was on a mission to create my own master-piece. Grueling hours for weeks... rock rotate after rock rotate... The scaping was finally done after 10 days. Into the tub it cures.... for a total of 55 freaking days! Without further ado.... The re-scaped tank as of 11/8/17 Hope ya'll enjoy it. You are going to be in loveeeeee with your tank. I was using a single AI Prime HD, then added a second one. Decided to go overkill so I have Radion XR30W Pro Gen4 over it now. Quote Link to comment
