New Specimen Discovered?

I have never seen this online or in anyone's tank before... but now I have many growing in my sump. Only my sump. It looks like bulbous aptaisia, and gets very dim light during the day - I have no lighting fixtures shining on it. I don't think it's a pest, just want more information on it. Look at bottom of picture. Btw, my tank is an innovative marine 30l. And yes, I put hermit crabs on my filter floss.
