I do not know where to post this question.

I recently got some New Carbon and it came with a Bag.

I am going to use this bag, since I now have 2 bags for carbon, is it possible to be using To much Carbon?

Depends on your livestock. Some inverts, like clams, like some stuff in the water. Just my two cents.

In my experience, yes, it is possible to use too much carbon. Usually resulting in zoas closing up tight first, then various LPS doing the same.

TY for the quick replies.

I have 3 fish..(2) 4 lined Damsels and a Lawnmower Blenny.

No Clam(s), Some Snails, 3 Emerald Crabs and 7 Shrimp.  6 Peppermint and 1 Cleaner.

I do have Zoas, a Torch, Open Brain, Elegance and 2 Duncan Corals.

I was just cleaning the Filter and have room in the Media Basket for that 2nd Bag of Carbon. "Red Sea Reef-Spec" Carbon.
