kinetic
Are you in healdsburg? Pretty close to all the fires? Quote Link to comment
Ranjib
No Im not. I am in Bay Area. Im pretty sad by the whole fire things. I hope folks get to rebuild everything. Its pretty bad out there :-( This pico was zoa heavy from vary beginning, and my kid thinks them as flowers. Healdsburg has quite a bit of flower valleys. Its one my favorite small town, hence this pico was named healdsburg. 2 Quote Link to comment
kinetic
Right! I'm in Berkeley, and even from here the air quality has been terrible, and I've been hearing and have friends affected by all that's going on. I saw your Healdsburg title, and was freaked out that you didn't evacuate or what you were going to do with the tank. The current fireline is pretty much right on Healdsburg now. 1 Quote Link to comment

Yeah, this turned out lot more prettier than I thought it will be. I have reduced feeding though. I fear I'll run out of real estate. When I started spot feeding with oyester feast and reef roid , coral grow lot faster. Now I am worried that the grandis might take lot more estate than I thought. Rasta have recently started showing some growth. I am still not familiar with who will be more aggressive over whom.. or they will all stay happy and get equal chance to grow. my initial thought is to slow down feeding, and be rigorous on water change. then once I know who is growing slowest, I can spot feed that zoa. for past two months my two pico tanks dont even run HoB filter all the time.. so its very low on equipments (only light and return).. i'll put the heater under reef-pi control sometime this month.. since winter is coming. 2 Quote Link to comment

Ranjib
Latest pics ricordia is looking healthy, but not multiplying vamp in a drag it got couple of new heads growing. the chilli pepper montipora suddenly changed color, base is still orange, but the polyps has turned white from green Fts 3 Quote Link to comment
Ranjib
Tank is going as usual. i am noticing some of the pink palys(pink zipper?) have elongated polyp when they are surrounded by radioactive dragon eyes , which outgrow them in numbers, but can grow as long polyp as them All the vamp in a drag polyps have attained same height :-) I have these zoas on the rear side, can’t recall the name, but I’m very happy about their looks, they have this slight blueish center finally, fts, kinda 3 Quote Link to comment
Ranjib
Latest pics i am already thinking of fragging the grandis, it’s taking up too much space Fire and ice zoa, no significant growth yet 2 Quote Link to comment
Ranjib
When I had a tailspot Blenny, it had much off most of my zoas. One of them had survived ilbecause it grew in crevices, now they it has 5 polyps. Chemical romance , is a survivor This is what I think vamp in a drag, but could be solar flare as well. May be both, these are two separate frags. One of them is getting a new head Top down view its amazing to see how much the color differs with led spectrum. I run kessil a80, and this is how it looks when white spectrum is in its fullest this is the same zoa , but under heavy blue , and the image was temperature corrected to remove the strong blue tint i can attest that the colors are not due to image processing (saturation and contrast was untouched ), still the corals show lot more pops under blue 2 Quote Link to comment

Ranjib
Current fts i really need to frag the grandis , waiting for the next local fragswap. I am also contemplating should I remove it completely ? I love it, but it grows faster and takes whole lotta space I think my ricordia has grown a new mouth Rest is as usual, got a new macro lens 2 Quote Link to comment
