DaveFason
Hey guys, The new year is already cruising along and I wanted to give everyone an update on NanoBox. 2016 was a killer year with over 1000 units made and shipped. Pretty insane to think about but was a huge accomplishment! I am innovating, designing and planning for the future! The website has been updated to help people choose which retro kit works for them, new parts added to the shop and a couple more videos. I really hope this helps out. Parts : http://nanoboxreef.com/shop.html Retro Page : I am still trying to find a way to work the ATI Sunpower pricing structure in. However so many are 100% custom it makes it difficult. http://nanoboxreef.com/retro.html I added a guide to keep your unit running nice and clean. Check it out! http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/379828-nanobox-unit-maintenance-keep-it-clean/ If you have not stopped by the constructive talk please do! This has been a huge help for me on future changes. http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/379666-nanobox-unit-constructive-talk-changes-discussion-ideas/ The last few months I have tried to buckle down and design tanks that showcase the lights and how gorgeous a tank can be. I am currently running five tanks and think it is very important to use what you build! Spencer is working on many more options to make your life easier. Great work Spencer! http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/379983-jan30-17-bluefish-update-new-stuff/ I have been very fortunate on planning work trips with personal trips. This past weekend I went down to Charleston, SC to see Joey from Joe Knows Reef, meet Divec ( member on forums ) and fish for reds with an old paintball friend. Joey has a IM10 that has been set up for some time. This is a true mix reef. He runs a pump, and extra pump, NanoBox Tide Plus and preforms weekly H20 changes. If you are in North Charleston check him out! This tank is doing so well that the DIGI is growing on the glass. This shows you how good parameters goes a long ways. joeyknowsreefim10tidefts by David Fason, on Flickr joeyknowsreefim10tide by David Fason, on Flickr joeyknowsreefim10dendro by David Fason, on Flickr joeyknowsreefim10dragon by David Fason, on Flickr joeyknowsreefim10rainbow by David Fason, on Flickr joeyknowsreefim10bounce by David Fason, on Flickr Next up was meeting Adam. I caught my first red and could not be happier. Getting out, seeing nature and experiencing everything it can give you will really get the gears turning.
