Hi Scott,

 

I emailed you this too but am wondering if others have experience with this tank? Can the black be peeled off/removed from the back? I'm considering an AutoAqua ATO and want to keep the optical sensor out of the display area. I might do a small, separately lighted fuge back there too.

Vinyl. Peals off.

The sensor for the Smart ATO Micro is on the inside of the tank and you don't need to remove any backing. A lot of people on here use them through the black back of the all in ones.

Yes, the all weather black vinyl is removable either completely or by sections.
