spectra
Well what are your options? Any way to hide them behind the tank or stand? My power supply is probably 6x4 or so maybe a little bigger and it is stuck to the back of my stand with heavy duty Velcro. Quote Link to comment

I was considering the stand, it'll fit but my concern is water splashing on it. Quote Link to comment

HM3105
Well be careful not like you are diving in there I use a snorkel and mask to clean the tank. That's my current working plan, mounting to the stand. I may install a splash shield also though. 1 Quote Link to comment

HM3105
Ok guys, very important decision, 4x PP8 or 2x PP8 and 2xPP15? Quote Link to comment
Beer
I like the dimensions of that tank. I prefer tanks that have more depth than height. You can do a lot more with the 'scape tall tanks just feel too constrained and claustrophobic. It tends to lead to rock wall layouts, yours definatley looks more open. 1 Quote Link to comment

spectra
All really depends on what you are going to stock it with. I am just running the M1 for a return and one MP 40 I had to turn things down as I was blowing sand everywhere. Even once I had it toned down to my liking a few of my plate corals said nope......turn it down a little more. Quote Link to comment

I don't like them to meet. 53 minutes ago, Pinner Reef said: Spiffy new setup you've got started here... HM3105
Salt added, getting close to the magic number. Also, my pumps running at full are causing my reef flakes to move around Quote Link to comment

Can't wait to see the growth coming out of those bad boys. Side note love the choice of the fuge lights. Those reflectors + a LED bulb will grow macro just as good if not better than any expensive grow light at a fraction of the price. Quote Link to comment
HM3105
And we have rock. Not super sure I got all the lanthanum chloride off the rock though. But at least @spectra will stop complaining! 5 Quote Link to comment
