Michael_Price
Hello all, I am debating between the two options below. What do you recommend? Whats better for Softies and LPS? Besides looks is there a reason to keep the rocks separated for coral management reasons? Feel free to follow my build post too! http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/377208-nuvo-30l-build-new-here-tips-tricks-welcome/#entry5403533 Option 1 Option 2 Link to comment
Mariaface
I'm liking option 1! But with the small sandbed pieces from option 2. Valleys are a bit easier to swim through, you've already got a cavelike section to the left, and the open negative space is elegant on its own, but would also look great with softies/LPS that enjoy lots of movement. The pieces on the bottom are good for corals that you'd like to separate (zoas/palys that grow quickly, a GSP mat, cyphastrea or encrusting montis, etc). Link to comment

Thats what I was thinking with the small sand bed pieces too. I'll probably add them back and go with option one. I took them out for a clean elegant look, but of course after a few weeks the clean sand look will pass ha ha. Link to comment
Clown79
Lol. I like the second one. Both are nice but I like the tunnels of the second one. Link to comment
Pinner Reef
I vote #1... I like the unbalanced look which is centered on the tirds. Link to comment
