2016 any news on how to "Crinoids" or "feather stars"

I use masstick from easy reefs and i take some masstick and some ro-water to it and then i thin it using saltwater and feed the mix to my feather stars (crinoids)

So far it looks like it is growing but im not sure only thing im sure of is it has not lost any "arms" and it is look better then when i got it but my tank dont like all that food.

I haven't heard of any success stories with these.

What kind of system do you run? As I've been kicking around an idea for a setup that may work for you.

Yeah, there are a few who can keep them. I think most of them have systems based off if Steve Tyree's tri zonal filtration. Which, my idea is based on, as well.

Mine is black'n'wellow and are the non expensive, i use masstick delutted so is is liquid and not a dough.

 

It is still "growing" and it is not droping arms.

 

I have one in a year old aqua-medic yasha no skimmer but deep sand bed and rubble as filter.

 

If i can get a new pic and a older pic i will post later.
