jedimasterben
You need the 36" over this That's what she said! I expected Upton pictures, at least! Oh, I can certainly oblige. Got the stand bottom prepped. Going to silicone it in place tonight. Corals and fish are doing well so far. Put a buttload of felt slidy-jiggies under the stand so it wouldn't scratch the floor any when moving it around. Thinking I'm going to put it back on the far wall instead of on the wall to the left where the 40 was. And a test fit of the sump, skimmer, and return pump. Ordered sand this morning. Going to see if 20lbs of Nature's Ocean Samoa Pink #5 (1.7-2.5mm grain size) is enough. Can always add more later. It is the same kind of sand that I used to have in my 80, but this is a slightly larger grain size. 7 Quote Link to comment

mystersyster
That is a very cute bitty sump. It's about the performance, not the size. 4 Quote Link to comment

jedimasterben
and follow... even though there is no tank at least there is kate upton pictures.. Hey now, I posted a pic of the tank just a few up #sizematters orly So I was thinking to myself "Self, you incredibly handsome and well-endowed bastard, you really don't want to have the same denitrification issue you had in the 40 by not having enough biofiltration." So I ordered a bag of oolite white Nature's Ocean sand. I'll probably only have like 15lbs of that after I'm done rinsing it, but combined with the 20ish pounds of the much larger sand (which will go on top) it should hopefully be plenty. 2 Quote Link to comment
Marc.The.Shark
So, are we going to get a totally unbiased review of the Maxspect? Or are you a paid spokesman? Lol. Interested in the led combination. I'm sure growth will be fine with the led's they have, just wondering about the overall viewing color/brightness. Quote Link to comment

Interested in the led combination. I'm sure growth will be fine with the led's they have, just wondering about the overall viewing color/brightness.I've never gotten paid to do any reviews, or even any design. I've refused a few because they were stipulated on only talking about the good and not to mention any flaws, etc. So far in what little I've gotten to play with the Ethereal, the light is bright to the eyes and is a pleasing color, not super blue at full power, has a pleasing blue tone from the LED mix (no Windex from too many standard blues), and I'm hoping the warm white LEDs will make my gorgonians look good, but that will be in time. And unfortunately, I just sent in and checked on the tub and I found my marine betta on the floor, freshly deceased. Not even dry yet 1 Quote Link to comment
