I'm going away for 1 week next year, so I have a while but I'm going to get a timer for the lighting to switch on and off but if I have a percula how would I feed it? Do I feed it just beforehand and could it last 1 week without dying of hunger?! Or is there a non-expensive way of feeding it or keeping it from dying???? My relatives are coming with us on a holiday and we cant really trust any one else. X)

I believe, someone correct me if I am wrong, that your clown would be okay for one week. I have seen mine eat a pod or two so I would think that yours might also and should not starve.

yeah I was told they may be ok just double checking, thanks :) I'm still in my cycle and researching just a little bit more.

If you are nervous, I went to Spain for 10 days and tossed in a few timed release sticks. When I returned, the sticks were gone and the fish were all fine!
