This was a used unit bought here at nano-reef. The unit when it came was not really cared for and was sent to Dave for cleaning inside (had some gunk - god know how it got there ) and some refurbishment as a new gooseneck (new rimless gooseneck)

NOTE: Refurbishment is not for working of light - it was for a new gooseneck and cleaning inside.

 

The storm controller is new and so is the powersupply.. The storm controller external box (transparent case is old and has some broken tab - (will cost 10 bucks or ask Dave maybe he can ship u one for even less ) - it will not come off unit you drop it etc(see pictures)

 

There are few scuffs on the light as you can see.. 2 white patches on top and 1 white patch on bottom. (see pci where the light attaches to gooseneck)

 

Somewhere during shipment from previous owner to me and me to Dave and then from Dave to me the 4 pin connector which you connect from the light to the storm controller got damaged (see last pic for connector ) and Dave shipped me a new one which i replaced. It is more like a plug socket like thing and sometime it will become loose. Just make sure you put it place nice and proper and u are fine. This is really like a 10 cent part and if are picky i enclosed another new connector - so you can use that.

 

Also enclosed is a old storm controller (does not work - I think) + RIMMED tank gooseneck (old) + extra power supply for storm controller.

Work perfect. There are couple of scratches but no impact in performance.

 

This was sold before and I did not realize that the skimmer's impeller had some broken tabs. This was returned and I now have a new impeller and foamer included (see pic).

 

Additionally, some were b/w to and fro shipping the surface skimmer attachment pipe cracked. I have never used the surface skimmer so cannot comment. You can glue the pipe and it will work fine.

Light is practically new and was bought from BRS in late feb 2016. It does not even have 2 months of use. During hanging I accidentally rubbed is along the stand and it 2-3 small scuff on the body (it is on the back side so u will never see because that side is towards the wall wen you mount it).

 

​No scratches on acrylic etc, no loose parts, no dents or corrosion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The white gash on the picture above (bottom right) is not a scuff. The camera reflected I guess. Same with blotch below the gash. it is light reflection..

No dents , broken parts. There is dirt under the fan and I tried getting it out as much as I could. This DOES NOT Cause any issues. This is dust which accumulates when you run the radion. FAN does not make noise other than the regular noise you should hear.

 

I bought this new and this was use for a around 2 yr - not run at more than 35%. I ran once for a week for 40% and it bleached my monti.

Yes .. That ATI took me a lot of thinking to buy and was wondering if it was the right move from a radion..

This is the best light I ever bought ...

 

I want to hold it to my dear life ...It is just that I found a great ATI powermodule hybrid ..so don't want this sitting and wasting away and not get the value later ..

 

I have had the best growth and colors with the ATI - after having tried radion and anything else
