Cencalfishguy56
a little reef vid I put together highlighting some updates, most recent coral is the yellow plate and red/pink acan. Everything is growing quickly, all acans have at least 2 new heads sprouting, my red acan has 4 new heads coming in and sunny D palys have gone from 2 to 5. Also bubblegum digi is encrusting and sprouting out. As of a couple of days ago my bubble tip split so now I have 3😅 3 Quote Link to comment
Cencalfishguy56
made a quick little update video, everything is growing nicely. I think the fastest grower is the red acan, it has a ton of heads around the base. The bubblegum digi is encrusting well and I see it starting to branch out at the base. Check out my torch in the beginning that got F***** up from my BTA a few weeks ago 😖 the tentacles look shriveled still. Btw I just noticed I now have 4 BTAs! Can’t wait a few months to see everything grown in, also looking to add a few more colorful zoas and possibly starting up another tank! I was thinking about switching back to kessils as well... 4 1 Quote Link to comment

Cencalfishguy56
Feeding time, can you tell the plate loves reef roids? also got a hairy mushroom for the LFS, this will go into the next tank I will be setting up. Hopefully it doesn’t drop babies before then🥴 2 1 3 Quote Link to comment
Cencalfishguy56
Current update on the tank. Night time on the reef. Oh and I got a new tank 😬 4 Quote Link to comment
Cencalfishguy56
Added a few more zoa frags, got a nice beauty and the beast frag for cheap. Here’s the tank currently, growing and glowing! Gonna start testing soon and dosing for your reef, I know sps would appreciate it and take off faster than they already are, notice the bubblegum digi is already encrusted down the plug and branching out also cut my skimmer entirely and went with a full fuge, i noticed what seemed to be dinos when I was skimming heavy and had cut back on feedings in an attempt to eradicate GHA in the display, unfortunately my nutrients dropped super fast so I cut skimmer and went back to feeding schedule and dinos appeared to disappear after a couple weeks of going back to old routine, will be adding more macros and various fauna to increase diversity once thanksgiving break hits! For now, caulerpa prolifera and gracillaria hayi, tank is doing great, still sticking to weekly 5 gallon water changes lastly, new tank is now cycled. Will be adding fish soon and once I have matured with macros I will be adding sea horses and taking fish out. We shall see maybe I’ll do another reef instead with a euphyllia dominance 2 1 Quote Link to comment
